The University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW–Madison) has been recognized as the top producer of Peace Corps volunteers for 2026, reflecting its strong commitment to global engagement. With 3,466 alumni having served since the organization’s inception in 1961, UW–Madison holds the position of the second all-time volunteer-producing institution. From October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, 63 students from the university volunteered in 34 countries, including Benin, North Macedonia, and the Dominican Republic.
