Annis, rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, chose Miami over offers from other prominent programs such as Auburn and Tennessee. Standing at 6'3'' and weighing 205 pounds, Annis has made a significant impact in his two seasons as a starter, throwing for 3,552 yards and demonstrating impressive athleticism on the field. In the 2025 season, he completed 112 of 186 passes for 2,203 yards, along with 22 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, showing a marked improvement in his completion percentage from 43% to over 60%.
