Asha Bhosle, the legendary playback singer known for her remarkable versatility, passed away at the age of 92 due to multi-organ failure at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, India. Veteran actress Hema Malini reflected on their emotional bond, stating that Bhosle's vibrant spirit will be deeply missed. Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman and actor Akshay Kumar also shared heartfelt messages, emphasizing the immortality of her voice. Bhosle's illustrious career spanned over eight decades, during which she recorded numerous iconic songs, including 'Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar' and 'Piya Tu Ab to Aaja'. She is survived by her son, Anand Bhosle, and granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle. Her last rites are set to take place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Monday.
