Abhay Grewal, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, popularly known as 'IIT Baba', returned to his hometown in Jhajjar district, Haryana, with his new wife, Preetika, an engineering graduate from Karnataka. The couple's wedding was celebrated at Aghanjhar Mahadev Temple in Himachal Pradesh on Shivratri, followed by a court marriage on February 19. Grewal, who gained recognition during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, stated that he came to Jhajjar to seek his parents' blessings and complete bank formalities. His father, Karan Singh, expressed joy over his son's new life phase, while his mother, Sheela Devi, welcomed the couple warmly. The couple is currently residing in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
