Kohli has played only three competitive matches this year before joining the RCB camp, but he showcased his talent by scoring an unbeaten 69 in RCB's opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Tiwary emphasized that Kohli's presence in the team instills belief, stating, 'As long as he is at the crease, there is always belief in the dugout.' Kohli has a remarkable record against CSK, having scored 1146 runs in 34 innings at an average of 38.2. In their last encounter at home, he scored 62 runs off 33 balls, leading RCB to a strong total of 213. Meanwhile, CSK's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad is under pressure after suffering six consecutive losses, with Tiwary suggesting that the team could explore different bowling options to improve their performance.
