These cancellations have affected over 10.79 lakh passengers. The restrictions have forced airlines to reroute flights and suspend services. Despite these challenges, Indian airlines carried 240,254 passengers between February 28 and April 3 and operated 45 non-scheduled operations (NSOP). On April 4 alone, they managed to operate 44 inbound flights from West Asia, bringing back 8,061 passengers. Foreign airlines reported 2,177 cancellations during the same period and carried 443,881 passengers with 18,924 NSOP movements. Officials noted that domestic operations in India remain unaffected, with no congestion at airports.
