Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the general secretary of the AIADMK party, criticized Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and his family for acting as power centres in Tamil Nadu since the DMK took power in 2021. Speaking at a campaign event in Tirupattur, Vellore, and Ranipet districts, he claimed that Stalin's family members, including his wife Durga Stalin and son Udhayanidhi Stalin, control various government departments. Palaniswami urged voters to support the AIADMK to reclaim the rights and dignity of the people. He also addressed the DMK's past electoral failures, suggesting that Stalin should not speak arrogantly about the AIADMK's losses since 2017. Furthermore, he took credit for the implementation of the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam scheme, stating that it was a result of AIADMK's pressure on the DMK. He expressed concern over the treatment of alliance partners in the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance, noting that despite their historical support, they were allocated fewer seats in the upcoming elections due to the entry of the DMDK party. Palaniswami emphasized that AIADMK's commitment to protecting minority rights remains unchanged despite electoral alliances.
