The Chief Electoral Officer, Navdeep Rinwa, highlighted that the draft electoral roll published on January 6, 2026, included 12,55,56,025 voters, with a notable gender ratio of 824 females per 1,000 males. The final roll reflects an improved gender ratio of 834 females per 1,000 males. Among the new voters, 17,63,360 are aged 18-19, representing 1.32% of the electorate. Prayagraj district recorded the highest increase in voters, followed by Lucknow and Bareilly.
