She asserted that the goal remains to bring the DMK back to power, emphasizing that both parties are working together to maximize their electoral success. Alva also addressed perceptions of a united BJP-AIADMK front, asserting that the political sentiment in Tamil Nadu is largely anti-BJP. Furthermore, she criticized the Assam Police for their handling of an FIR against Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera, calling it a violation of federal norms and an overreach of authority. Alva defended Kharge's controversial remarks during a campaign, arguing that they have been misinterpreted and emphasizing the importance of context in political discourse. She highlighted the differences in voter behavior between southern and northern India, linking it to literacy and political awareness.
