Union Health Minister J P Nadda inaugurated the ARHI Hospital in Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya, on June 4, affirming the Centre's dedication to enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the Northeast. Nadda highlighted that the new facility will provide advanced medical services to residents in remote and underserved areas, significantly improving health outcomes. He described the establishment of a modern super-specialty hospital in a hilly region as a visionary achievement, crucial for strengthening healthcare delivery. Nadda expressed his gratitude to local MLA Alexander Hek for the invitation and congratulated everyone involved in this initiative. He underscored the hospital's role as a beacon of hope, facilitating access to specialized healthcare and minimizing the need for patients to travel outside the state for treatment.
