In a significant effort to enhance healthcare services, the Uttar Pradesh health department launched a six-month inspection drive under the State Review Mission, initiated on October 29, 2025. This initiative involved inspecting over 16,000 health units across all 75 districts to identify gaps in infrastructure, manpower, and patient services. The inspections, conducted by 901 divisional and district-level officers, covered various facilities, including 93 district hospitals, 861 community health centres, and 12,405 health sub-centres.
