Asus has confirmed its exit from the smartphone market as of January but is now focusing on its upcoming tablet, the Asus Pad. Leaked renders reveal a sleek design with reasonably thin bezels. The tablet is expected to feature a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing vibrant visuals. Additionally, it will support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio-visual experiences. Powering the device will be a 9,000 mAh battery capable of fast charging, although specific charging details are yet to be disclosed. The Asus Pad will weigh 523g and measure just 6.5mm in thickness. While Asus has not announced a launch date or the reasoning behind developing the tablet, further details are anticipated in the near future.
