On Thursday, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) in Kashmir filed a charge sheet against ten individuals, including four doctors, for their involvement in a clandestine module engaged in radicalization and preparations for terrorist attacks. The case stems from an FIR registered in October 2025 at Nowgam police station in Srinagar, following the discovery of provocative posters linked to the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad. These posters were part of a broader conspiracy aimed at reviving the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) terrorist group, intended to instill fear and disrupt public order in India. The SIA's investigation revealed that the accused had identified Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP), a highly sensitive explosive, as a preferred material for their operations. The group, comprising educated individuals, including medical professionals, misused their access to institutional resources for unlawful activities, disseminating extremist propaganda and procuring materials for explosive fabrication. The SIA claims to have dismantled the entire terrorist network, supported by substantial evidence, including digital forensics and witness accounts, which highlight the serious intent and preparedness of the accused.
