Exit polls suggest the BJP is projected to secure between 150-175 seats, while the TMC is estimated to win 118-140 seats. A notable trend this election cycle is the record turnout of women voters, which reached 93.24%, surpassing previous records. This significant female participation could be pivotal in determining the election outcome, as women have increasingly outnumbered men in voting since 2011. The TMC, led by Mamata Banerjee, has historically benefitted from this trend, winning 184 seats in 2011 and increasing its vote share in subsequent elections.
