On May 12, 2026, the Sri Bhaktanjaneya Swamy Temple in Srisailam, India, hosted special rituals to mark Hanuman Jayanthi. Conducted by the temple management of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy, the ceremonies aimed to promote prosperity and well-being across the world. The temple priests recited the ‘Sankalpam’ to invoke blessings for peace, timely rainfall, and abundant crops, while also praying for the nation to be free from untimely deaths and natural disasters. Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao and temple staff actively participated in the rituals. Significant ceremonies included the ‘Maha Ganapati Puja’ to ensure smooth proceedings, followed by ‘Panchamrita Abhishekam’ and ‘Jalabhishekam’ for the deity, accompanied by Vedic chants. Additional offerings included ‘Ashtottara Puja’, ‘Nagavalli Dala Puja’, and ‘Pushparchana’, showcasing the rich tradition and devotion of the temple community.
