Shyam Lal Bansal officially took charge as the mayor of Panchkula, Haryana, on Saturday, with a commitment to development and urban beautification. Following the ceremony, he convened a meeting with the municipal corporation commissioner and ward councillors to discuss pressing issues and development requirements in their areas. Bansal expressed his intent to accelerate development works in collaboration with municipal officials and councillors, emphasizing the need to improve sanitation services and enhance civic amenities, including effective waste collection systems for residents.
