Srinivasa Rao, the State president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has accused Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the president of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), of using media appearances to distract the public from the development initiatives of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. Rao stated that Reddy's press conferences are designed to create political noise that is disconnected from the realities on the ground. He emphasized that Andhra Pradesh has made significant strides in attracting major investments in recent months, suggesting that the state is on a path of development. However, he criticized the YSRCP government for its failure to establish lasting infrastructure and implement necessary institutional reforms. Furthermore, Rao questioned the handling of the murder case of former MP Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, pointing out inconsistencies in the YSRCP's narrative regarding the incident. He noted that the YSRCP initially described the death as a cardiac arrest and demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry, yet clarity has not emerged during their term. Rao concluded by stating that the public is increasingly rejecting faction-driven politics and will not endorse such tactics.
