Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay held a vibrant roadshow in Tiruchirappalli, where he was warmly received by the public and members of the Tamil Maanila Congress (TVK). Upon his arrival from the state capital, he was honored with a ceremonial police salute, followed by a welcome from Ministers Aadhav Arjuna and S Ramesh, along with senior officials and Lok Sabha MP Durai Vaiko. Vijay traveled approximately 10 km in a van to the public meeting venue at St Joseph College. During the roadshow, he waved to supporters lining the streets, who showered his vehicle with flowers and cheered his name. The police ensured tight security during the event. Vijay is scheduled to address the crowd at 4:15 PM to express gratitude to the people of Tiruchirappalli East, where he won the seat by a margin of 27,216 votes before resigning to retain his seat in Perambur, Chennai. His visit marks the continuation of his 'I am coming' campaign launched on September 13, 2025, for the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
