On Tuesday evening, Sameer Asif Khan, aged 40, was shot by unknown assailants near the Dockyard Road railway station in South Mumbai. The incident happened around 6:05 PM while Khan was visiting a hotelier friend. According to police reports, two men on a motorcycle followed Khan before one opened fire, injuring him in the right thigh. Deputy Commissioner of Police Krishnakant Upadhyay confirmed the shooting, stating that efforts are ongoing to identify and capture the suspects.
