The political crisis within the AIADMK party in Tamil Nadu has deepened following the resignation of Ambasamudram MLA Esakki Subaya, accepted by Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar. This resignation marks the fourth from the party, reducing its strength in the Assembly to 43 MLAs. Currently, 27 MLAs are aligned with AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K.
