HBO Max's popular series The Pitt is undergoing another cast change as Shabana Azeez, who portrays Victoria Javadi, announced her character will transition from the emergency room to psychiatry in Season 3. During an interview with Bustle at the Newport Beach TV Fest, Azeez shared that Javadi has completed her ER rotation and will now focus on her psychiatry rotation, describing the shift as 'a very different vibe' and expressing feelings of being 'scared and nervous' about the new role. Despite this change, Javadi will remain part of the series, unlike Dr. Samira Mohan, played by Supriya Ganesh, who has departed. Season 3 will also introduce a four-month time jump to November, as confirmed by creator and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill and star/executive producer Noah Wyle. Writer Simran Baidwan mentioned that filming for the new season is set to begin in June, maintaining the same residency year as previous seasons. This transition marks a significant development in the show's narrative, promising fresh storylines and character dynamics as it continues to engage its audience.
