The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for applications regarding the verification and re-evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets to June 7, 2026. This decision was made to support students who reported difficulties accessing their answer sheets through the newly launched online portal on June 2. The extension allows students additional time to submit applications for verifying issues with their scanned answer sheets, such as missing pages or discrepancies in evaluation. Students are required to log in to the CBSE portal using their Aadhar number to apply for these services, which must be completed online. The board has also faced scrutiny regarding the accuracy of its on-screen marking (OSM) system, prompting the formation of a committee to investigate these concerns. Students are advised to ensure all details are correct before finalizing their applications, as only one application for verification is permitted.
