The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that certain models, specifically the Funkee Monkees, may contain sand with fibrous tremolite asbestos. If these toys are damaged, asbestos fibers could be released into the air, posing serious health risks. The affected models include a large gold monkey (model 17451) and smaller multicolored versions (model 41929), both sold from February 2025 to April 2026 for prices between $5 and $40. Consumers are urged to stop using the toys immediately and keep them away from children.
