State universities across Uttar Pradesh, India, are preparing to celebrate the foundation day of Gujarat on May 1 with a diverse range of cultural, social, and health-oriented activities. Following guidelines from Governor Anandiben Patel, the celebrations will feature traditional Gujarati dances such as garba and raas. Universities will conduct cleanliness drives and host HPV vaccination camps in five adopted villages. Additionally, the festivities will include the distribution of nutritional kits for tuberculosis patients in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas. Students will also embark on guided visits to historical and cultural sites, as well as participate in events focused on girls and daughters. Other activities planned include fashion shows, exhibitions, film screenings, and sports competitions, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere on campuses.
