Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T) has officially ventured into the B2B industrial electronics sector with the establishment of L&T Electronic Products & Systems (LTEPS) at its Coimbatore campus in Tamil Nadu. This new business vertical will be headquartered in Bengaluru and aims to provide comprehensive electronics manufacturing services to both Indian and global clients. L&T has already commissioned two manufacturing lines and plans to expand its operations across a 40-acre zone in Coimbatore, covering the entire industrial electronics value chain, including research and development, product development, and contract manufacturing. L&T Chairman & Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan emphasized that this initiative aligns with the company's 'Lakshya 2031' aspiration to enhance technology leadership and promote self-reliance in critical manufacturing sectors in India. The LTEPS will focus on developing and manufacturing products in key areas such as power electronics, industrial robotics, and communication platforms.
