Geekplus Co., Ltd. has successfully deployed 436 moving-type Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) across several Toyota Motor Corporation plants in Japan, with up to 200 units operating per system. This initiative addresses urgent labor shortages and new regulations affecting the manufacturing sector by automating logistics processes. The AMRs facilitate the unmanned transport of goods through various stages of production, thereby reducing the physical workload on staff and enhancing productivity. Additionally, the implementation of these robots promotes a safer working environment by minimizing the risks associated with traditional forklift operations.
