Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) held Ekam 2026, a vibrant event designed to connect online learners from various programs, including MBA, MCA, and BBA, among others. A total of 497 students participated, marking a significant milestone in their online education journey. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge. Key university officials, including President Dr. N. N. Sharma and Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education Dr. Mallikarjuna Gadapa, emphasized the importance of this gathering for fostering collaboration and networking among students. Dr. Sharma announced new initiatives aimed at enhancing academic exposure, including a Campus Immersion Program and Research Mentorship opportunities, particularly highlighting access to the Bloomberg lab on campus. The event featured various performances, allowing students and faculty to showcase their talents and engage in meaningful discussions, enriching their overall academic experience. The day concluded with a vote of thanks from Deputy Director Dr. Kasinathan S, recognizing the contributions of all participants and dignitaries.
