During a recent meeting of the INDIA bloc in New Delhi, Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) leader NK Premachandran highlighted that 'broader opposition unity' is the primary focus of the alliance. He stated that the bloc is committed to maintaining coordination within Parliament while also working to expand its grassroots support. The next meeting is scheduled for August in Hyderabad. The gathering included representatives from 23 political parties, including key leaders from Congress such as Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi, as well as Mamata Banerjee from the Trinamool Congress and Akhilesh Yadav from the Samajwadi Party. The discussions revolved around formulating a national strategy to address current political and economic challenges. The meeting also featured participation from regional leaders and representatives from various left parties, reflecting a united front among the opposition.
