According to Downdetector, there were over 3,300 reports of problems, primarily linked to Google Search. Users encountered various error messages, blank pages, and slow loading times. The breakdown of complaints showed that 57% of users had trouble with search functionality, 28% faced issues with content loading, and 11% struggled to access the website itself. As users flocked to social media platforms like X and Reddit to share their experiences, memes and posts comparing the outage to a global emergency began to circulate. While many found the disruption temporary, complaints surged during the peak outage window. As of now, Google has not provided details regarding the cause of this service disruption.
