Five-year-old Waylon Oden from Jacksonville, Texas, accomplished a remarkable feat by scoring a hole-in-one at Birmingham Golf Club in Rusk on April 12. Playing with his father, Jack Oden, Waylon's shot on the sixth hole stunned onlookers. Jack described the moment as 'crazy,' expressing his disbelief as he jumped in excitement when the ball went in. The joy was contagious, with fellow golfers on surrounding holes sharing in the celebration. Waylon, who attends Pre-K in the Jacksonville Independent School District, enjoys golf and plays with his dad about twice a week. He is also a multi-sport athlete, having performed well in motocross and baseball, showcasing his diverse athletic talents. The Oden family remains active in their community, participating in the Trails to Christ Cowboy Church.
