Among these, five were from Bengaluru Urban, while the remaining were from various districts including Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada. In total, government colleges had varying representation in other streams, with 15 in BNYS, 13 in agriculture, and 11 in pharmacy within the top 1,000. The numbers of government college students in the top 5,000 ranged from 39 in veterinary sciences to 53 in engineering.
