The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has scheduled the second exams for Class 10 and Class 12, commencing on May 7, 2026. The Class 10 exams will take place from May 7 to May 19, while Class 12 exams will continue until May 25. This initiative allows students who did not pass certain subjects or wish to improve their marks to retake exams. Both exams will be held from 9 am to 12 pm at designated centers throughout Madhya Pradesh. The introduction of the 'Second Examination' system aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aiming to provide students a fair opportunity to enhance their academic performance. Students must complete their online application on the official MPBSE website within seven days of the result declaration, which is set for April 15, 2026. The marksheet issued will be valid and formatted similarly to the main board exam results.
