This initiative aims to support young travelers, especially recent graduates, in enhancing their summer travel plans. TSA PreCheck members enjoy benefits such as expedited security screening, allowing them to keep their electronics and compliant liquids in their bags, and to keep on light jackets and belts during the screening process. The application starts online, followed by an in-person appointment to receive a 'Known Traveler Number' for booking flights. This promotion comes amid rising airfares, with the average domestic round-trip economy ticket costing $358, which is an 18% increase from last year. International fares are also up, averaging $1,074, a 12% increase, driven by higher jet fuel costs amid geopolitical tensions, including the ongoing conflict in Iran.
