In May 2012, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was involved in a notable altercation at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, following an Indian Premier League (IPL) match where his team, Kolkata Knight Riders, defeated the Mumbai Indians. Former Assistant Commissioner of Police Iqbal Shaikh, who was present during the incident, described it as stemming from a miscommunication between Khan and Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials. According to Shaikh, Khan was playing with children when a security guard's whistle upset him, leading to a heated exchange. To prevent escalation, Shaikh escorted Khan out of the stadium. The MCA subsequently imposed a five-year ban on Khan from entering Wankhede Stadium due to the altercation, which he denied, claiming he only reacted after security personnel allegedly manhandled the children. The ban was lifted after three years. In a reflective moment, Khan acknowledged the importance of grace over being right in a social media post. Recently, he has starred in blockbuster films like 'Pathaan', which grossed ₹1055 crore (approximately $127 million USD), and 'Jawan', which earned ₹1160 crore (approximately $140 million USD). His upcoming film, 'King', is set to release this Christmas and features his daughter Suhana Khan.
