The University of Mumbai is set to release the first merit list for Undergraduate (UG) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session today, May 26, at 11 am. Students who applied for various affiliated colleges can access the list on the official website, mu.ac.in, or their respective college sites. After the merit list is published, candidates whose names appear will need to complete document verification and pay fees between May 27 and May 29 to secure their admission. The university will evaluate admissions based on Class 12 examination marks, specifically considering the best five subjects. Following the first merit list, additional lists will be released on May 30 and June 4 to accommodate remaining vacancies. The academic session is scheduled to begin on June 13, 2026. Additionally, the university is accepting applications for various postgraduate programs until May 30, 2026.
