During the North Tech Symposium-2026 held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed an exhibition showcasing India's indigenous defence innovations. The three-day event highlighted advanced technologies tailored for modern warfare, including tactical gear, bulletproof jackets, and AI-driven military solutions. Adityanath noted the importance of innovations such as the 'head-to-boot' protection system and clothing designed for extreme temperatures. The symposium also featured drones and smart surveillance systems, reflecting India's commitment to enhancing its defence capabilities in multi-domain warfare, including cyber and electronic domains. The active participation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), start-ups, and defence companies aligns with the goals of the 'Make in India' initiative and Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). The event concluded with a group photograph of military officers, industry representatives, and policymakers, symbolizing a collaborative approach to future warfare, where technology and innovation will play a pivotal role.
