In a move to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, a counter-terrorism initiative, BJP leaders across India have been instructed to update their social media display pictures to feature the operation's logo. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Cabinet ministers and senior leaders, has already made this change. Additionally, the Cabinet Secretariat has initiated a project to gather innovative practices from officers in all-India, Central, and state services. Secretaries and Chief Secretaries have been tasked with encouraging their respective officers to document and share their successful public administration efforts, whether minor procedural enhancements or significant systemic reforms. In a lighter moment, the Supreme Court addressed a bail application for a man named Chhotu, humorously questioning his choice of name while ultimately granting him bail after noting he had been incarcerated since 2024.
