Disney+ and Hulu are set to livestream three prominent U.S. music festivals this summer: the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Music Festival. Announced on May 18, this collaboration aims to bring the excitement of these live events to a global audience, marking a significant expansion from Hulu's previous six years of exclusive streaming. Lauren Tempest, Head of Content Planning & Partnerships at The Walt Disney Company, emphasized the importance of delivering iconic cultural moments to fans worldwide. Live Nation's Kevin Chernett noted the increasing global demand for live music experiences, stating that these festivals are now accessible to fans regardless of location. Each festival will not only feature live performances but will also include the “Live Set,” an on-site studio for artist interviews and behind-the-scenes content. Bonnaroo will run from June 11 to 14 in Manchester, Tennessee, showcasing artists like Skrillex and The Strokes. Lollapalooza will take place in Chicago from July 30 to August 2, featuring performances from Charli xcx and Lorde. Lastly, the Austin City Limits Music Festival is scheduled for October 2 to 4 in Austin, Texas, with headliners including RÜFÜS DU SOL and Twenty One Pilots.
