Karl Hechema, a 16-year-old student from Dubai, founded 'PrepaDNB,' a free AI-driven educational platform designed to assist students preparing for the French Brevet examination. His initiative arose from personal experiences during his own preparation, where he noticed a lack of suitable resources for his peers. Since its launch in October 2025, the platform has attracted over 5,000 users across more than 40 countries. It consolidates various study materials, including revision sheets, quizzes, and podcasts, and features an AI tool that generates personalized quizzes for users. Hechema, who learned to code using AI-assisted tools, emphasizes the importance of continuous updates and user feedback in maintaining the platform. He attributes his success to the UAE's supportive environment for youth innovation, which fosters ambition and creativity. Despite his entrepreneurial pursuits, Hechema remains committed to his academic responsibilities, demonstrating effective time management to balance school and his project. His goal is to expand the platform's reach and empower more students globally.
