In a shocking case from Amravati, Maharashtra, police have arrested 19-year-old Ayan Ahmed for the sexual exploitation of at least 180 minor girls and the recording of over 350 obscene videos. Ahmed, a second-year college student, allegedly lured the girls into relationships, took them to rented rooms in Mumbai and Pune, and filmed the abuse. The scandal came to light after a dispute with fellow accomplice Uzer Khan, who posted the videos online out of anger over a financial disagreement. Ahmed had previously been involved with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) party, managing its social media. Following the arrest, authorities demolished Ahmed's family home in Paratwada town, and a 47-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the case. So far, eight survivors have been identified, and police are working to gather statements from their families. The incident has sparked controversy, with some local groups labeling it as an instance of 'love jihad,' although officials have confirmed that all identified victims belong to the Muslim community.
