Following allegations of exam paper leaks during the 2024 Teachers Recruitment Examination (TRE) and BPSC prelims, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has rolled out significant reforms to enhance the security of its examination process. Key measures include a six-layer security system for transporting question papers, which involves customized wrapping, alphanumeric locks, and sealed containers with GPS tracking. The BPSC has also introduced multiple question paper sets to ensure that entirely new questions can be deployed in case of a leak. Ravi Manubhai Parmar, the BPSC chairman since March 2024, emphasized the importance of addressing vulnerabilities in transportation, which were previously exploited. The commission has also responded to allegations concerning the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) exam, asserting that under the new system, there is no possibility of paper leaks. Additionally, biometric checks are being enhanced to prevent impersonation, ensuring a more secure examination environment.
