The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has unveiled the counselling schedule for the 2026 academic year, allowing eligible candidates to register and fill their choices starting June 2, 2026, at 5 pm via the official JoSAA website. This counselling is crucial for students who have qualified through national-level engineering entrance exams and aim to enroll in BTech programmes at various participating institutes across India. A total of 121 institutes will be involved, including 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). Key dates include mock seat allocations on June 8 and June 10, followed by the first round of seat allocation on June 13. Candidates will also have the chance to lock their choices before the actual allocations begin. The counselling will be conducted in five rounds, with additional provisions for students who qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). It is essential for candidates to adhere to the registration and reporting deadlines to secure their admission successfully.
