Sarah Taylor has made history by becoming the first woman to join the coaching staff of England's men's Test cricket team, taking on the role of fielding coach for the upcoming series against New Zealand. Rob Key, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Director of Cricket, announced her appointment, highlighting her exceptional skills and previous contributions in coaching roles. Taylor, a former wicketkeeper-batter, has an impressive record with 226 international appearances across formats and has been involved with the England Lions under Andrew Flintoff. Her experience also includes coaching with the Sussex men's team and Manchester Originals. Taylor steps in for Carl Hopkinson, who is currently tied up with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians.
