The Shimla Meteorological Office has announced that a fresh western disturbance will affect the western Himalayan region starting April 23, leading to a wet spell in mid and high hills on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Over the past 24 hours, the weather in Himachal Pradesh has been mainly dry, with only traces of snowfall in Koksar and 7.8 mm of rain recorded in Kukumseri, which was the coldest location at night with a minimum temperature of 0.4 degrees Celsius. In contrast, Una reached a maximum temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest spot during the day. From March 1 to April 19, the state received 154.5 mm of rain, slightly below the normal of 156.8 mm, indicating a 1% deficit.
