The Punjab government has commenced the distribution of property cards for Lal Dora lands, enabling residents to establish legal ownership of properties they occupy. MLA Kulwant Singh announced the distribution of cards to 205 beneficiaries, including 160 residents from Dairi village and 45 from Thaska village. This initiative allows residents in over 12,000 villages across Punjab to claim ownership rights, facilitating access to bank loans that were previously unavailable due to the lack of valid ownership records. Singh emphasized that under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's leadership, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is implementing various development initiatives and ensuring welfare schemes reach the grassroots level. The government is also addressing long-standing property ownership disputes and has conducted a comprehensive survey in Mohali district to identify and resolve infrastructure issues such as roads and sewerage. Singh criticized opposition parties for misleading the public about their achievements in development over the past two decades.
