He mentioned that the project feels like a test of his resolve, stating, “the universe is testing me.” While addressing rumors about a new cast, he assured fans that he prefers transparency in his filmmaking process. Akhtar's commitment to the project remains strong, and he is currently assessing his next steps as a director. The film, described as a light-hearted road trip story focusing on female friendships and self-discovery, has generated considerable buzz since its announcement. Last year, Akhtar hinted that the original cast might not be finalized, but he confirmed that the film will eventually move forward.
