Traffic congestion near the Ennore bus terminus in Chennai has become a daily struggle for users of Kathivakkam High School Road, which is only two lanes wide. Motorists often find themselves waiting for extended periods, with two-wheeler riders particularly affected by exhaust fumes. Residents have pointed out that the road's many curves and unpaved sections contribute to the delays. They suggest that the road should be widened, especially near the terminus and the urban primary health center, to facilitate smoother traffic flow. Local zonal officer T Padmanaban mentioned that some encroachments were removed during renovations earlier this year, but plans for further road widening have yet to be executed. Residents are urging authorities to take immediate action to improve the situation.
