Ravi Mohan, a prominent Tamil actor, has officially joined the cast of 'Benz', an upcoming action film that is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). The film, which is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, features a star-studded lineup including Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly in pivotal roles. The announcement of Ravi's casting was made on May 31, 2026, accompanied by behind-the-scenes images showcasing the actor. 'Benz' is produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj in collaboration with Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy, under their respective production banners, G Squad, The Route, and Passion Studios. The film also boasts a talented crew with music composed by Sai Abhyankkar, cinematography handled by Goutham George, and editing by Philomin Raj. Although Lokesh Kanagaraj is not directing this installment, 'Benz' is still a part of his acclaimed cinematic universe, which includes successful films like 'Kaithi', 'Vikram', and 'Leo'. In addition to 'Benz', Ravi Mohan is involved in several other projects, including 'Karathey Babu', 'Genie', and a film previously titled 'Bro Code'. He is also preparing to make his directorial debut with 'An Ordinary Man'.
