The National Testing Agency (NTA) is actively addressing concerns raised by candidates regarding examination centres for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG 2026). In response to requests, the NTA has opened a window for candidates with physical disabilities to register scribe details on its official website from April 30 to May 5, 2026. The CUET UG 2026 exams will take place from May 11 to May 31, 2026, in a computer-based test format, covering 37 subjects, including 13 Indian languages and a general aptitude test. Candidates can select a maximum of five subjects, irrespective of their class 12th choices. Each test paper will contain 50 compulsory questions, with a duration of 60 minutes. Scoring will be based on a system where candidates receive 5 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers. Additionally, candidates with disabilities will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time for each hour of the exam. The NTA has already issued exam city slips, while the admit cards are yet to be released.
