Major cities such as Manchester and Birmingham will see temperatures fall to 2C, while London, Oxford, Gloucester, and Norwich are expected to experience lows of 6C. The Met Office has noted that this cold snap will be accompanied by scattered showers, although many areas may remain dry. Weather expert Nick Finnis from Netweather.tv indicated that Wednesday will likely be the coolest day of the week, with daytime temperatures across the UK and much of northern and western Europe falling below seasonal averages, ranging from 10-15C.
